Are you and your baby ready for the holiday feasts?!

Hey parents! We are approaching the holiday season and I know most of us are looking forward to feasting on some of our all time favorite holiday meals! This will be my 1-year old’s first holiday season in which he can devour those things we know we only get about 1-2 times per year.  I’m really looking forward to letting him try all my faves like sweet potato casserole and homemade mac and cheese.  I’m sure my mom is going to give him dressing (YUCK) and although it’s not something I will be consuming, I look forward to seeing him get a taste.

Once we are all seated at the dinner table, I intend to set him up in his highchair right next to me with all of his toddler utensils and little by little place some holiday fixings on his plate.  It’s so important to me that he gets to fellowship with the family and also have his very special eating sets.  One of my favorite sets for him to use can be found in the “Yum Yum” box which has one bowl with lid, 2 eating utensils (dual fork and spoon) and a foldable bib.  Perfect for ages 4 months +! All the products are made of 100% food grade silicone.  They are non-toxic and of course perfect for his age!  Each set also comes with a reusable lid just in case your little one doesn’t finish their meal.

My baby loves to try to feed himself and sometimes he does a good job while other times I’m left with an abstract food painting on the floor.  Nonetheless, I know he is going to thoroughly enjoy his feast and so am I.  More importantly, I look forward to him safely eating with his precious utensils!

What are you looking forward to eating for the holidays?

Will your baby be participating in the feast?

Does your baby already have a favorite holiday dish?
